The beautiful location and the hotel had so much history
The mattress on the bed we slept in was a bit old and you could feel the springs.

the decor of the hotel was lovely, the food was very nice, the bathroom was lovely with huge bath.
the restaurant and the bedroom were so very hot - no aircon, therefore felt the price was very expensive for something that was not comfortable.

Central location within the Cotswolds. Character building with contemporary features.

We received a free upgrade to a king room in the back and it was lovely with a view of the garden, quiet, and fun decor.
The large tub had a shower attachment, no shower curtain, and it was fairly high to climb into. This is definitely not an arrangement suitable for older people or those with any physical limitations. On the other hand, two people could take a bath together easily!
